Divorce 101: The Process Primer
When your marriage is ending, you face many decisions and worries about how things will turn out. Making decisions during an emotionally traumatic time can be confusing. Through this course, bj mann provides facts and clarifies myths about the process of marital separation and divorce.
The workshop is useful to anyone exploring this process as well as counselors, human resource managers, clergy, financial planners and other service providers. BJ provides handouts and information on divorce resources. Participants will learn about:
- Child custody and visitation
- Parenting issues
- Grounds for divorce
- Property and debt distribution
- Real estate, retirement, and taxes
Conflict: It's Not A Dirty Word
Conflict in the workplace is a major source of morale, attendance, and performance issues. In this presentation bj mann teaches skills for dealing with conflict. Participants will leave with workable solutions for handling conflict and feedback on their own conflict resolution style. This is an excellent teambuilding workshop that can easily be presented as a workplace “brown bag” lunch seminar or within a staff meeting.
There IS Life After Divorce!
This is a workshop for healing, renewal and self-discovery. Its presenters are psychotherapist Donna J. Grant, MSW, CSW-R and divorce and family mediator, bj mann. These highly skilled facilitators have created a unique process that helps participants move beyond pain, let go of fears, and define new meaning for their lives.
Divorce turns your life upside down, leaving you with a kaleidoscope of difficult emotions—feeling lonely, flawed, enraged, undesirable, hopeless or empty. Domestic Partnership Workshops
Falling in love. There's nothing like it. There are so many decisions to be made: where to live, how to take care of household chores and finances, how to balance work and play. One of those decisions should be to prepare a domestic partnership agreement.
This workshop provides facts about how to protect your relationship and your intentions. Until gay and lesbian couples are granted the same marriage privileges as heterosexual couples, creating a domestic partnership agreement grants you rights and privileges that could otherwise be denied. This workshop is essential for couples who cannot marry as well as clergy, therapists, human resource managers, and others who may advise homosexual couples.
Participants will learn about economics, health, parenting, real estate, power of attorney, donor agreements and many other important issues that protect and strengthen your relationship. [ top of page ]
